The music education community has an epidemic of imposter syndrome and deep-rooted feelings of inferiority. These often limit educators who seek to inspire students to feel safe to take risks and find joy in making music. In this workshop, Jake will share his journey towards teaching with courage based on his personal research and practices in hopes of encouraging participants to reframe their
perceptions and practices by actively identitying and sharing their gifts.
