MMEA Tempo

Tempo is Manitoba Music Educators’ annual professional development conference, welcoming music teachers from across the province. Attendees represent all grade levels, Kindergarten to Grade 12, and a range of disciplines including elementary music, band, choral, guitar, and strings.

The day includes up to 12 concurrent sessions in three time slots, led by local, national, and international experts in music education, as well as a keynote address for all attendees.

Tempo is also supported by industry sponsors, who share their products and services in the exhibitor break room.

In this workshop you will learn meaningful ways to include Kodaly-inspired teaching in your music classroom. These methods will lighten your planning load and create opportunities for authentic musical learning and joy for your students.

Members of the Alberta Kodály Association board will also use in their us classes timing lactih as thies you can put into practice Monday morning. This workshop is for educators who are brand new to the world of Kodaly and experienced pedagogues alike.
